By accessing or using USCIS Case Tracker ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

USCIS Case Tracker is a third-party web application that allows users to check their USCIS case status by querying the official USCIS Case Status API. We provide:

• Case status lookup using USCIS receipt numbers
• Real-time data from the official USCIS API
• Case history tracking (optional)
• Timeline visualization of case progress

We do NOT:

• Process immigration applications
• Provide legal advice
• Have access to USCIS internal systems
• Guarantee case outcomes or approval
• Expedite or influence USCIS decisions

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Automated Access: Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service
• Abuse: Overload our servers or attempt denial-of-service attacks
• Misrepresentation: Impersonate others or provide false information
• Unauthorized Access: Attempt to access systems or data you're not authorized to access
• Commercial Use: Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
• Reselling: Resell or redistribute our Service or API access
• Reverse Engineering: Decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code

4. Rate Limiting

To ensure fair usage and comply with USCIS API guidelines, we implement rate limiting:

• Maximum 10 searches per minute per user
• Maximum 100 searches per day per IP address
• Excessive usage may result in temporary or permanent suspension

These limits are subject to change based on USCIS API policies.

5. Data Accuracy and Reliability

Important limitations:

• Data is retrieved from USCIS API "as-is" without modification
• USCIS API may experience downtime or delays
• Status updates may not reflect the most current information
• Always verify critical information on the official USCIS website:https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus

6. User Accounts (If Applicable)

If you create an account:

• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must provide accurate and current information
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

7. Intellectual Property

Our Property: The Service, including its design, code, and content (excluding USCIS data), is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

USCIS Data: Case status data is provided by the U.S. government and is in the public domain. We claim no ownership of USCIS data.

Your Data: You retain ownership of any data you provide (e.g., receipt numbers).

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

10. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

• Remove or delete any content or data

You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability) will remain in effect.
